Blue Horizon is a purebred Irish Draught, one of Blue Henry's last and finest sons. He is very correct with lots of bone and great limbs. His dam Clannad Bess (now deceased) has bred champions, and is also the dam of our beautiful Grade 1 Foundation Stallion Kelston Blue Max, our other graded foundation stallion Blue Gray Perhaps, Clannad Maestro, Multichampion Show Cob Polaris (aka Blue Gray Amazement), his half brother Vega (aka Blue Gray Advocator), grand-dam of our multi-talented champion Show Horse Madam Butterfly and many others. Blue Horizon is DNA tested and registered with the Irish Draught Society.
We have decided to retain this superb purebred as we think looking at his height and bone he is very likely to be a very smart heavyweight cob. That being so, he is half brother to both Polaris and Madam Butterfly combined and what a combination that will make! ...
